Consultation

We understand student life goes well beyond studying. It’s about supporting change; helping students make friends, gain vital skills for life, enjoy new experiences and allowing students to grow in and outside of university life. We are here to help with issues such as the language barrier, bureaucracy with respect to university formalities and visa issues and any other issues relevant to international students. If you know someone abroad, who wants to study in Münster, we offer from now on consultations via Skype. Write an email and Facebook message to make an appointment. We are available throughout the working week. Just visit us or send an email. In addition to German, this year we will also be providing counselling in Arabic through Ebrahim, in Russian through Rakhmonbek & Vlad, in English with Youssef and in French with Ahrang.

About us

The ASV of WWU Münster   The international students’ union (“ausländische Studierendenvertretung“in German ) of the WWU Münster has been facilitating international students ever since it was founded in 1971. We make sure that the voice of international students is heard by proactively working against racism, discrimination of any sort and by aiding international students in all walks of student life. It is for this reason that our efforts are not just confined to university policy (“Hochschulpolitik”) but reach out to students in their daily life. We aid students by helping them find accommodation in Münster, by providing counselling regarding issues from university life and provide financial support. The office (room 209) is on the first floor in the AStA building (Schlossplatz 1) .
